10 Scriptures That Will Change Your Life!

You have to decide to be the “change.”

Once you have decided to give your all to God, change is necessary. You will love like Jesus loves, you will forgive those that hurt you, you will want to serve without being asked, you will seek God in all that you do, you will read his word, you will know that you are who God says you are, you will choose not to stress nor worry about things out of your control, you will pray without ceasing, you will encourage others, you will not talk about others behind their back, you will worship when you don’t feel like it, and you will cheer others on as they move closer to God.

CHANGE IS NECESSARY!

Zephaniah 3:17(NIV)

2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.

    and he answers me.

A Woman Of Noble Character: 31 Noble Characteristics Of A Proverbs 31 Woman….

AN EPHESIANS 5 MAN PURSUES A PROVERBS 31 WOMAN IN ORDER TO CREATE THE AUTHENTIC, PURE, AND LONGLASTING 1 CORINTHIANS 13 LOVE.

Have you ever really thought about how to become a “WOMAN OF NOBLE CHARACTER?”

Does this statement mean that you will become “perfect” by striving to become a Proverbs 31 woman? The answer is No! The only perfect person was Jesus, but what sets the Proverbs 31 woman apart, is that she allowed God to mold her and make her into who she was.

She walked closely beside God wanting first and foremost to please him and then everything else flowed from that.

Each day we should strive to become a Proverbs 31 woman. God honors those that try each day to be more like him. We are called to be set apart and not to live and do things  like the world, we are called to see beauty from within, we are called to equip and encourage other women to advance further in the kingdom of God and we are called to shine our lights boldly, courageously and intensively in honor of our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ.

PROVERBS 31:10-31 (NIV)

10 A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
    and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
13 She selects wool and flax
    and works with eager hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships,
    bringing her food from afar.
15 She gets up while it is still night;
she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants
.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
out of her earnings, she plants a vineyard.
17 She sets about her work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 She sees that her trading is profitable,
and her lamp does not go out at night.
19 In her hand she holds the distaff
and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
20 She opens her arms to the poor
and extends her hands to the needy.
21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes coverings for her bed;
she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is respected at the city gate,
where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
and supplies the merchants with sashes.
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.
26 She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27 She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
29 Many women do noble things,
    but you surpass them all.”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31 Honor her for all that her hands have done,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Do You See?

DO YOU SEE WHAT GOD SEES IN YOUR CHILDREN?

Beyond what your children do, how they behave, why they do things a certain way, and what talents and skills that they have, do you truly see what God sees in them?

Ask yourself these 20 questions today…

  1.   Are you pushing your kids to be who you want them to be or are you pushing them to be who God says they are?

2. Do you push your children toward using their spiritual gifts?

3. Do you know why they react to certain situations in certain ways?

4. Are you teaching them by example how to love others like Jesus, to forgive those that hurt them, to show kindness to ALL God’s creations, to have compassion, gratitude, and to be humble?

5. Are you teaching them and showing them what the word of God says and how to live a Godly life?

6. Are you teaching them how to pray and study God’s word?

7Are you talking with them about how God may be speaking to each them?

8. Are you pushing them to pray more and to rely fully on God?

9. Are you being their “spiritual” cheerleader?

10. Do you talk, teach and guide them into a better understanding of their spiritual gifts?

11. Do you encourage them to pray for others?

12. Do you talk with them about their dreams?

13. Are you real, vulnerable and honest with them about your past mistakes and how God has transformed you?

14. Do you even know what your children’s spiritual gifts are?

15. Do you truly listen when they are speaking to you?

16. Have you dedicated your kids to God?

17. Do you believe and know that God has a purpose in their life?

18. Do you push them to be authentic and themselves?

19. Do you speak positive affirmations to them daily?

20. Do you truly see who God has created them to be?

These are wonderful questions that each parent should ponder on and be asking themselves.

We should be asking to have “eyes” that can truly see who are children are meant to be in Christ.

We should be encouraging our children to “step out, be bold and courageous for God.”

We should be teaching them the ways in which God wants to use them in their gifts and callings.

TODAY IS THE DAY AND NOW IS THE TIME FOR THE SONS & DAUGHTERS OF GOD TO RISE UP!!!

Our children are highly favored & loved by God and it is our job to help them reach their true destiny!

It is not their children’s pastors or youth pastors job to lead them, it is our job as parents…

Under Pressure Diamonds Are Made…

Do you feel as if you are under immense pressure?

During this time of testing and pressure…God is doing work within you!

3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

9 Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position.

10 But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wildflower.

11 For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich will fade away even while they go about their business.

12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;

According to Wikipedia, the most natural DIAMONDS are made under immense pressure and extremely high heat temperatures.  Special gemological techniques have been developed to distinguish natural diamonds, synthetic diamonds, and diamond simulants. The word is from the ancient Greek ἀδάμας – adámasunbreakable“.

So what in the world would “diamonds, pressure, and testing mean to you and to me?”

The word of God explains so very clearly that the pressure that you are feeling in your life right now is actually “testing your faith and developing perseverance.” Just as a diamond is pressed upon, shaken and prone to the exposure of fiery hot heat…you yourself may be feeling the heat and pressure in your own life.

So many times we do not see what God is doing in the midst of the trials that we face, but we have to always know and understand that during these times of testing that God has never left our side! God may not be speaking quite as loudly to you and that does not mean he is not there, that means that the TEACHER is just being quiet during the TEST.

God wants to see how you decide to study for the test….

Do you give up at the very beginning?

Do you try to seek advice or all the answers from someone other than him?

Do you fully trust in HIS will and HIS way and allow him to polish you and mold you into who you are created to be?

THE CHOICE IS YOURS!
Growth happens when your faith is being tested, promotion happens when your faith is being tested and your reliance on God lacks nothing!

The enemy wants nothing more other than for you to give up during this time of immense pressure and intense heat. Sadly many, many Christians do give up. They decide that God is just not enough to see them through and the diamond that God had intended them to be cracks and crumbles under the pressure.

That is not what God wants or has planned for his children!

Once you have endured through to the end, not giving up, and staying steadfast planted firm on the rock, the beautiful diamond that you are is born. You will indeed be “unbreakable” and you will lack nothing other than to seek God more intensely in all that you do. Your foundation of faith will be as strong as 1,000 men. HALLELUJAH!! GLORY BE TO GOD!!

THERE IS A DIAMOND WITHIN EACH ONE OF US….

CAN YOU HANDLE THE PRESSURE?

CAN YOU PASS THE TEST?

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you today asking that during these hard times of pressure and heat in our lives that we stay strong and true to your word. I pray that we do not give up! Help us to see what you are doing in and through us during this time, Lord. Make us and mold us into the beautiful diamonds that you know we are God. We love you and thank you for everything you are doing. Forgive us when we fail you, in Jesus precious name we pray…AMEN!

Do not give up!!!

The pressure is molding you and making you into who you are created to be!

Are You Being Called Into Intercession?

DO YOU TOSS AND TURN ALL NIGHT WITH THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD ON YOUR SHOULDERS?

DO YOU HAVE THINGS THAT POP INTO YOUR MIND OR PEOPLE THAT POP INTO YOUR MIND THAT YOU ARE URGED TO PRAY FOR?

DO YOU CRY OUT TO GOD ON A REGULAR BASIS FOR THE HURTING OF OTHERS?

DO YOU HAVE A DEEP CONCERN FOR OTHERS THAT MAY BE LIVING A SINFUL LIFE?

DO YOU HAVE COMPASSION SO DEEPLY FOR OTHERS THAT ARE NOT DIRECTLY CONNECTED TO YOU THAT BRINGS YOU TO TEARS?

*If you have answered “Yes” to these questions, you may be called into intercession or intercessory prayer.

PRAYER WARRIORS ARISE!!
Intercession is warfare!
The battle is not ours alone, it is God’s!

When you are called to be an intercessor you are called to intercede through prayer to God on the behalf of yourself and others. There are many ways in which God may speak to you about interceding and he speaks to each one of us differently.

~A FEW WAYS IN WHICH GOD MAY SPEAK TO YOU~

~Through a dream

~Through a vision

~Through a feeling

~Through hearing

~Through Nature

~Through impression

~Through thoughts

Intercession involves the ability to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit while in prayer and know what His direction is in that moment; therefore, when we step into the realm of intercessory prayer, it is also prophetic.

The prophetic often flows out of intercession.

As we intercede, whether it is to be for people, nations, current events or governments, the Lord will speak back to us, releasing His power through his words he is speaking to us.  We then use these prophetic words to make declarations, bind demonic activity and bring into existence in the natural what the Lord has already spoken in the spiritual. It is always good for the prophetic words to be written down, so they can be referred to for further prayer, in addition to serving as a reference of how God brings things to reality.

When the prophetic and intercession come together, it brings destruction to the devil’s tactics and heals the broken heart of an individual at the same time. With these combined actions, it will bring a manifestation of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

The Bible says, “We are not fighting against our brothers or sisters. We are fighting against forces of evil and authorities and against rulers of darkness and spiritual powers in the heavens above” (Eph. 6:12).

Ephesians 6:12 (NIV)

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Prayer is powerful and actually has two sides….listening and talking..

The ability to function prophetically in times of intercession takes faith, practice, and patience.

Faith to pray out loud what you believe God is speaking, practice in learning to discern the Holy Spirit’s leading on a personal level as well as for a group and patience to trust and obey God with what he has spoken to you.

Intercessory prayer is a very serious matter. And just like soldiers who are preparing for battle, we cannot take on the enemy if we leave our weapons behind. That’s why we must go into “battle” armed for spiritual warfare.  (see 2 Cor. 10:3-4 below).

2 Corinthians 10:3-4(NIV)

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

When you are called to intercede, you will pray without ceasing and with prayer you also use other spiritual gifts that you have been given.

You are using the gift of faith when you know that the prayer request is being answered immediately.

You are using the gift of miracles when you believe for the impossible to happen.

You are using the gift of a word of knowledge when you know things about certain situations or individuals that you have no way of knowing other than by the Holy Spirit telling you.

The compassion you feel so deeply for others is the gift of mercy. The Holy Spirit leads and guides you to a clear understanding of the heart of God himself.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER IS AN AMAZING GIFT AND I PRAY THAT EACH OF YOU ALL WILL SEARCH YOUR HEARTS AND DETERMINE IF YOU ARE BEING CALLED INTO INTERCESSION.

When God revealed to me why I am the way that I am and I began to dig into his word everything that has happened in my life made more sense. I now understand why I have had to go through everything that I have gone through throughout my life. God was calling me to my destiny and building my faith with each and every setback that I have faced…

I understand fully why I worship the way I do with such adoration for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

I understand fully why I am so compassionate towards others and why I have a love that runs deeper than any ocean for every single person!

I understand now why I long to see everyone come to know Jesus!

I understand why I pray the way I do..with such passion and faith, knowing that God hears me!

I understand now why I have dealt with depression, anxiety, oppression, doubt, fear, insecurities, rejection, abandonment, and loneliness. God wanted me to learn to rest with him and not seek validation from anyone other than him!

I understand now that my calling has always been the same, but my assignment has changed.

I am called for such a time as this to intercede on the behalf of others, share the gospel and love of Jesus to everyone that I meet and to equip the daughters of God to learn to be who they are in Christ.

I now know who I am..

Do you??

Have a blessed week!

Arise Daughters Of God

There are so many days that I begin to write and the enemy whispers to me that I have no business writing anything. I have never claimed to be “perfect, sinless, or without blemish.”  I have made plenty of mistakes throughout my lifetime… past, present and I hate to tell you this, but I will make plenty more in my future. So if you are watching me just waiting for me to fail, I probably will more than once, but I will get back up, dust myself off and try again.

That is because I am not a quitter!
That is because I am an overcomer!
That is because I have a God that loves me and a God that has placed a calling and purpose in my life that is bigger than I could ever imagine!
Everything that has tried to defeat me, kill me and destroy me has FAILED!
God has called me for “such a time as this.”

God has spoken so clearly to me about what my mission is to be. See, he knows my name…he knows my struggles...and he has whispered promises to me that no man or devil in hell can take away!

So though my sins are scarlet, he has washed me white as snow.

I  know that I am not the best writer and I know that I will never go a day without making a mistake, but God says “I am his own.” Even when I fail God each day, he still wants to use me and he wants to use you too.

DO YOU HEAR WHAT I AM SAYING TODAY?

If the devil has tried everything that he can to get you down and you have placed your feet on  HOLY GROUND, dwelling, not moving and standing firm in God…you cannot be moved or shaken.

You have to get to a point in your life to where the only thing that matters is God and what he has for you!

If God has placed something on your heart..go after it FIERCLY!!

Walk in OBEDIENCE and see where God leads and guides you.

God does not call the equipped, he equips the CALLED!

Do not allow the enemy to whisper lies to you. The only reason he is tormenting you is so that you will not reach your true destiny. The devil knows what God has inside of you and he wants to get you so down in the dumps that you give up on your dreams and callings.

You are called to be used by God!

God may be telling you to do something and the spirit of fear is upon you...I REBUKE that spirit off of you in JESUS NAME!!!

The devil has NO AUTHORITY over a CHILD OF GOD!!
ARISE DAUGHTERS OF GOD!!
ARISE!!

YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER!

Do you not believe that if God can do a work in me, that he also can do a work in you?

Do you not believe that there is greatness in you?

GOD HAS CALLED YOU, YES …YOU, FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!

Dear Frazzled Mama…

I see you, yes you, the one that is walking the aisles of the supermarket in a sudden daze of what is yet to come for the day. You walk aimlessly down the cereal aisle, picking one out, knowing that your kiddos will fight over the one you bought, so you buy two separate boxes just to keep your kids from fighting.

You walk by slowly, taking your time,  looking, gazing, browsing and you often wonder how you even got to this place. You come to this supermarket at the same time and same day of every week just to escape. Escape the chaos…escape the noise that is constantly inside of your head…escape…the nagging….just to simply escape…

You are frazzled Mama..and that is ok!

We all feel your pain, us Moms that is. We all know exactly what if feels like to try your best to be “SUPERMOM” and to fail quite miserably.

There are basketball practices, dance recitals, Church fundraisers, suppers to be made, dentist appointments that need to be made, school projects that have made us competitive monsters, lunches that need to be made…etc…etc…you get the picture…..we have a lot on our plates.

We juggle everything from the finances, to family life, to work life, to church life, to ministry life, school life, and somehow the “everything’s” in our life gets done.

Life is hectic and all we want to know is if we are doing a good job at this mom thing..can I get an AMEN??

I am going, to be honest with you all. I am a hot mess 99 % of the time. I wing it, everything that is! There are days when I do not even care what my kids wear to school anymore. There are days when I literally throw whatever I can in their lunch boxes because I am tired of them fussing and not eating what I put in there. There are days that I cry after I drop them off at school because the pressure to be the “perfect” mom is just way too much!

I am tired…I am frazzled…and yes, I often at times just want a vacation..alone…

But one thing I know for sure is that my kiddos are loved and that they have a Mom that does not have it all together, but I try. I try each and every day to teach them to love like Jesus loves. I try each and every day to show them what being kind is all about and how to strive to be “the best versions of themselves as possible.”

I try…and that has to be enough!

YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB!

YOU ARE LOVED!

YOU ARE ENOUGH!

KEEP TRYING!

NEVER GIVE UP!

KEEP HUSTLING!

KEEP LOVING!

KEEP PRAYING!

LOVE & BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL!
