ALL ABOUT ME
Where do I even begin? I am not one to want to talk all about myself, that is for sure. But here it goes, attempt number 144 that is. I am a 33-year-old wife and mother raised in a small town. My husband and I grew up together and fell in love at a very young age. We have been together 17 wonderful years, friends for 24 years and married for almost 15 of those years. We have two kiddos and an adorable mini Shih-poo, Zelda Lynn. Life has not always been peaches and cream and that is one of the many reasons why I decided to start this blog. I want every reader to feel like they are not alone. I want you all to look at yourselves and know that you have worth. You have things and ideas inside of you that can change the world and even change someone’s outlook on life.
How can you strive to be a better Christian wife and mother?
How can you find your purpose for this life?
I am here to show you through my experiences just how to find yourself and how God can use you just the way that you are. I thank God every day for never leaving me or forsaking me. My relationship with God has brought me through some really hard and trying times. I give him all the glory for bringing me this far and I look forward to him leading me and guiding me through this blog.
My only hope is to remind every reader that they have a purpose and what you may be facing today has a meaning.
Enough about all the serious stuff though 🙂 I absolutely love to laugh and most of the time I am only laughing at myself. I tend to be extremely sarcastic at times and love being around anybody that has at least some kind of sense of humor. If you can make me laugh, we will be instant friends. That is basically how I have kept my husband around for so long. Joking…but not really.
I enjoy running, dancing, reading, writing, all things Disney, planning, traveling, dreaming, teaching, exercising, painting, encouraging others, and serving others 🙂
On top of being a stay-at-home mom blogger, I volunteer at my local church feeding the homeless every week at our food bank, I am a worship leader, Sunday school teacher, Deacon, creative team member, and I have just recently started a team of youth in our church that serves others through, love and kindness. This team has been established along with my best friend to impact our community by showing love and serving others. I obviously enjoy writing, dreaming and reading. I just have this crazy idea that my purpose is bigger than myself and I enjoy encouraging and inspiring others to be who God has created them to be. Anything else, feel free to ask!
